Introduction

The Student Welfare Office (SWO) is a platform that focuses on holistic development amongst Christites. In harmony with the vision and mission of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Student Welfare Office looks at providing opportunities to students for personal growth and transformation. 

Be it Dance, Music, Literature, and even theatre- there is beauty within all kinds of art forms and at SWO, we encourage students to come forward and showcase their talents and seek to improve the quality of the student life on campus. Beyond helping students reach their true potential, we also help them understand the importance of being socially responsible citizens.

The University Choir

The Christ University Choir is a 120 plus member chorus with students from departments all across the Christ University Central Campus. CUC is well known for its two annual showcases, the first being Magnificat, the four day Christmas event which hosts a multitude of choirs from across India and the second being Sound Curry which displays a diverse set of music across multiple genres and ranges.

The Volunteer Body organises various events pertaining to the creative and competitive pursuit of art, literary, music theatre and dance talent throughout the year. Our work starts with planning, decorations, filing, appointing judges, audi management, and comes down to the smiles of the participants and audience.

Christ University Debate Society also known as the university DEBSOC, is an enthusiastic group of students, who organize and participate in many debate based events in and around campus. To begin with, the students of the society participate in and excel in various national and international tournaments

The Dance Team - Natyarpana

The Dance Team - Natyarpana

Natyarpana, the University Dance Team, is a group of dancing talents, handpicked from the University. This team enthralls the audience with their performances for almost every University events and occasions. The University Dance Day- Nritta is the celebration of Dance in all its forms, fusing various dance forms with over 450 dancers coming together on one stage to enthrall the audience.

The Cultural team

The Cultural team

The cultural team acts as the face of the University and participate in fests from different colleges and universities across India. The team includes students from ever department, well versed and expertiesed in different fields within the co-curricular range across the campus. Skills beginning from artistic to orating, one can find a wide spectrum of students in this team.

Christ University Quiz Association (CUQA) is a powerhouse body in the SWO which is renowned for hosting quality quizzes. CUQA has quite literally redefined the concept of quizzing. It provides a platform for budding quizzers to hone their quizzing skills and provides an excellent bridge for the new set of quizzers.
